I'm taking my lunch break today to talk about the new year a bit. I have plans like everyone does, some of which I will mention here.
In the first half of the year, I plan to finish the first draft of a post-apocalyptic novel. Six months should be plenty of time to do that; it's all just a matter of writing at least 14 pages a week. No problem, right? Okay, stay tuned for news and updates on that.
The first half of the year will also feature the release of the third Dead Earth book (SANCTUARY), so fans of that zombie/sf series--hello, are you out there reading this?--have something to look forward to.
I've been bad about updating this blog/website because I could never really decide what to do with it. So this year I will attempt to can the pondering and just write whatever pops into me little noggin. A music or book review perhaps, or words of wisdom, what I had for lunch--it's all grist, baby.
So keep on me about that novel. I think it will be mighty fine once it's finished. At least I hope it will be.
